A fantastic result, Gudrun! Even more impressive when viewed on black. I actually tried photographing water coming out of a tap and if one shot had looked even vaguely like your shot I would have been delighted. As it was all the shots were confined to the bin!!!! Your photo is an inspiration and an absolute fave for me.

Thanks a lot, Roger! I made loads of photos and most were absolute rubbish;-) Continual shooting mode did the trick but I struggled both with focus and shallow DoF/ high ISO.

Have fun! Maybe start with the automatic sports mode though it will give you very high ISO and wide open aperture.

Dank dir, poly! Das war ganz schön frustriend mit immens viel Ausschuss;-) Da hat mit doch ein Blitz gefehlt, das hätte die ISO etwas reduziert oder eine geschlossenere Blende erlaubt.

Stimmt, die 6D hat keinen integrierten Aufhellblitz. Das war bei der 7D manchmal für solche Fälle ganz praktisch.

Der würde auch nichts bringen, die großen Objektive würden Schatten werfen...Einen "richtigen" Blitz habe ich leider auch nicht.

Ja, das stimmt. Habe allerdings auch schon "Makroaufnahmen" aus grösserem Abstand und mit Zoom gemacht. Meistens war dann allerdings der Blitz zu stark :)
