Morning on the shores of Lago Todos los Santos, seen from Petrohué. The 178,5 km² large lake lies in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, is surrounded by temperate rain forest and ringed by mountains and volcanoes, among them Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronadór.

Schönen Dank, Erhard! Am Vortag hatte es geschüttet, deswegen war der schöne Morgen etwas Besonderes. Ich möchte auch sehr gerne wieder hin!

Herzlichen Dank, Lothar! Genau das habe ich getan- tolle Luft und noch nicht Saison für die fliegenden Plagegeister (Pferdebremsen, sollen schlimm sein).

Ja, das sind Lapilli, auch Scoria genannt. Hauptsächlich schwarz, aber es hat auch oxidierte rote dabei. Unten am See sind sie schon ein bisschen durch Wasser abgeschliffen, oben am Vulkan sind sie noch scharfkantig.
