Herzlichen Dank, Angelika! Die grüne Farbe kommt angeblich von organischen Bestandteilen, die sich an der Unterseite des Eisbergs angelagert haben- oder von Mineralien, so ganz genau weiß man das wohl nicht. Das Blau entsteht, wenn wenig Luftbläschen im Eis eingeschlossen sind.

Großen Dank, Heide! Das glänzende Eis bekommt man nicht so oft vor die Linse, dazu müssen die Eisberge die Unterseite nach oben drehen.

Herzlichen Dank, jeybee! Für einen Drink mit diesen Eiswürfeln reichen auch Ballermann-Eimer nicht....Und es war zwar Sommer, aber vor Ort hättest du vielleicht eher an heißen Kaffee und Waffeln gedacht;-)

Herzlichen Dank, Günter! Island ist hochgradig süchtig-machend, trotz des häufig schlechten Wetters. Die Gletscherlagune ist leider inzwischen während der Saison heillos überlaufen, aber trotzdem ein Muss.
