I did not like the inconsistencies at first (such as where distinguishing initials took their place) but later I heard the rhythm in this short and otherwise boring account. There is a poem in there trying to get out.

Well it's a bit late to start an enquiry now. But apart from the inconsistencies of style, and the indifference to punctuation, you have identified something far worse: a devil-may-care attitude to detail, a shocking incompleteness; a willingness to accept hearsay.
