White Lily Close Up
I'm doing my best to follow the rules and stay close to home, but I'm also running out of inspiration. In desperation I went for a walk around the local cemetery and found some white lilies that someone had left at a grave. They'd been battered by the rain but I managed to get this close up image. I used my 40-150mm zoom lens and this is a large crop, but I'm pleased with the result.

Oh Keith! This is TERRRRRRRIFIC! Love the details and the perfect composition. And hooray for finding a lovely subject in, of all places, a cemetary!

We are two birds of a feather. My picture today is also a macro of a yellow flower, zeroed-in on the pistils! HAH! You do realize that we do this a lot! Hilarious, isn't it?! :D *high five* My awesome online brother! :D

It is a good result Keith. The detail and colour is beautiful. The stamens stain very badly, as I found out to my cost, when I had some in the house. I never mind a walk around a local cemetery as often find something good to photograph.
