The UK's medical agency [MHRA] authorised the use of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine in Dec 2020. Rollout started 8th Dec 2020, with the highest priority people - ie. Front-line health staff, those aged over 80, and care home workers will be first in line for the vaccine.

The UK acheived their target of vaccinating 15 million people [their top four cohorts of the most vulnerable people] by 15th February 2021.

30th May 2021 ...
I have now had both doses of vaccine [Oxford/Astra-Zeneca] and it is almost four weeks since the second.
I still use "hands : face : space & fresh air" at all times outside my own home.
I will continue to mask up to go into shops and other enclosed / crowded places.
