Data from 8th December to 11th January 2021, so effectively the first month of the rollout. Target groups were older care home residents and care home workers, the over 80s and hospital / social care workers.
The target was to vaccinate 15 million people (first dose) by 15th February 2021. To achieve this, on the 30th December 2020, the UK's strategy was adjusted to give a longer gap between the two doses. The rationale was that more people would get some protection in the timescale available.
