Reliving history, the American Civil War, with actors playing blue against grey, North against South.
The grey dressed soldier on the left played dead until the end of this roleplay. Afterwards they had a few beers together.....;-)
No bullets, but real gunpowder, who asked for new shots?

What a contrast! This image reminds me of the Battle at Antietam where what came to be called "Bloody Lane". Twenty three thousand soldiers died on that day.

We had the chance to visit that Battlefield on a day that re enactors were there. It was an experience that has left a lasting impression with me.

Luc if you are interested in the U.S. Civil war and The Battle of Antietam the following link is done well. It's almost 45 minutes long but I learned so much about what I had seen that day.

actually the American Civil War lasted 4 years and took almost 700.000 lives; it lasted from 1861 to 1865; you can see the whole story in a 10 minute(!) video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7m4ld6Bgxc
the battle of Antietam took place in 1862. It was the bloodiest day in United States history, with a combined tally of 22,717 dead, wounded, or missing....
