Well, it's an improvement...

Lake Lahontan, a reservoir on the Carson River, Nevada. The drought isn't broken--note the high-water mark in the foreground!--but at least there's water! The scraggly-looking tree is a Great Basin cottonwood (Populus fremontii), which is showing the effects of water deprivation over the last few seasons.
