The Strait of Juan de Fuca
On an exceptionally clear and still day! Looking NNW from the bluffs near Dungeness Spit, Washington state. We were told the gray whales were migrating and were often visible just off shore here, but we missed them. The land on the skyline is Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, but to the left of that, the next landfall would be Kamchatka!
