An area of badlands weathered into tuff, like a mini-Bryce Canyon (altho the rock type is different!) Anywhere else there'd be an interpretive sign--here it's just out in the wilderness! Toquima Range, Nye County, Nevada, USA. Close-up views in one of the slot canyons are in adjacent photos in this album.
