Hazel Lundbech, 1924 - 2023

My lovely mother passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2023.
This photo was taken during WW2, when she was in the WRENS (Women's Royal Navy Service).
Below is a photo of her in her 70s.
She was 98, and died peacefully at home.

Thank you, Rick. Her service in the WRENS was always treasured by her, and she kept in touch with other WRENS for years. It also broadened her life in positive ways that were often not available to young women of her class.
As I said to Alan, she had an easy passing, for which we are grateful.
