Golf Course at Brighton, 1948

Golf Course at Brighton, 1948
Here's a very literal interpretation of this week's Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of LOOKING AT THE CAMERA.
I'm pretty sure this was the only time my mother set foot on a golf course - and there's no indication in the other photos that she actually played on this day, either. I'll have to ask her.
She was with a boyfriend - this was several years before she met my Dad.

raingirl, arts enthusiast, Alan Mays and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

haha. Thanks, Roger. Did they have such things as golf shoes then? The specialization of sports equipment these days seems insane to me - but then I'm not exactly out a sports buff, myself. ;
And perhaps golf shoes have existed since the introduction of golf?
