My records reveal that on 7 May 1986 I made a day trip to Manchester (from London) and, on a whirlwind tour, took in Manchester Piccadilly, Rose Hill Marple, Stockport and Manchester Victoria.

Sprinters and Pacers were still relatively new at the time of this visit to Manchester Victoria. Class 150/1 Sprinter 150116 is displaying a 'Special' blind and is seen next to Class 142 Pacer 142033.
