Weideochsen Deutsch Angus
Weideochsen vom Gut Gallin - da weiß man was man hat. ;-)

Max Biobauer club has replied to raingirl clubraingirl club has replied to Max Biobauer clubI like the concept of "foreground makes the picture healthy". I'm going to have to think about that and how it can relate to the abstract photos that I take. Here you've obviously taken that advise to heart. I like how obedient your oxen and Angus steers are. *smile*
And ah! The "golden ratio"!! That is always on my mind. Not always consciously, but I have been doing it for so long (I won't admit to how long I've been photographing), it is always considered. You did a perfect job of this.
And the rule of thirds - it is such an eye pleaser.
Of course all these "rules" still require an intuitive sense of beauty. You have done a great job of it.
Happy animals, happy photographer!
Happy World Photography Day!
malona club has replied to Max Biobauer clubraingirl club has replied to Max Biobauer clubWe will have another World Photography Day next year (we'll be discussing how we want to run it later next month) - so you'll have some time to come up with a "worse post" - hahaha
raingirl club has replied to Max Biobauer clubMax Biobauer club has replied to cp_u clubEin Rumsteak vom Chianinarind habe ich aber auch schon mal gegessen.
Max Biobauer club has replied to Gillian Everett clubBravo for the photo and the pleasant description.
Max Biobauer club has replied to Xata clubXata club has replied to Max Biobauer clubOne of my best friends is a shepherd, he owns about 800 sheep. We went a few months ago to an ovine gathering with sheep from all over the world. He told me after that his favorite are his own herd because they are the fruit of decades of work and selection, perfectly adapted to our land. I found his opinion wonderful, being happy with what we have is the secret of happiness. I am like that and I love him to think alike, maybe the reason we are great friends.
People like you and him are admirable, you care about quality but also animal welfare.
I get the Wagyu from a top restaurant whose chef is a friend of mine, she purchases for me. She is very attentive to the origin of her purchases, she is against animal suffering, she knows everything about what she buys to make sure she can vouch if asked by clients… so I trusted her for the delicious Wagyu, the japanese cows are born raised in our Alentejo not in Japan, and all the following is like you describe for your cattle. But also for others, for example “Rubia Gallega” cow meat, maybe you heard. We also know Angus of course…
Well, going to look at your steaks!
