You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You

"You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" (Morgan - Stock - Cavanaugh) was first placed on vinyl by the legendary Nat "King" Cole when he was known for his trio's jazz styling. This was recorded in May of 1945.

"You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" was written in 1944 and recorded in November of the next year by it's composer, Russ Morgan. "Music in the Morgan Manner" featured the trombonist/band leader on vocal on this 1945 hit.

Dean Martin topped the Adult Contemporary chart and reached the top twenty pop with this twenty years later in 1964, one of his many cover versions of the song. "You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" is from the album "The Door is Still Open to My Heart".
