Still used regularly today by walkers is this very old Packhorse Bridge which here crosses over 'Burbage brook' and the footpath continues onto the popular historically interesting landmarks of 'Carl Wark' and 'Higger tor' both seen here,.

Lovely image for 2023. It made me look up the location. If I ever make it back to England, I will have to go on a walking tour of all the moors ... it's not something we have here in California. (Though with all the rain right now, we're getting there ... but not complaining! We need the water, even if it floods.)
