My first time in Switzerland, I saw an accordion orchestra at the train station. They played a wonderful concert.

I also like accordion music a lot. It usually makes a happy mood, but can also be melancholy.

Do I understand that correctly, that you yourself have built such instruments? This is very interesting and impressive that you can do this, Wierd!

Thanks, Sami! That's why I found this part of the accordion also particularly well suited for this "black and white challenge".

Yes, that's really a slightly different compilation of photos. Although they have different motives, all the pictures look like a harmonious family together, I think.

Always good to see such accordions Stevia. The mono suits well but I presume it is really black but I think they made these in red too. I used to also own a white 'Tango' accordion but it was older than this. I now play and posses some others though. Thanks for sharing.

Best Wishes, Herb

Thanks for your comment, Herb! This is a red accordion. In the right PIP you can see it in the original color and also the complete accordion.
I think it's wonderful that you can play the accordion; I can't play it unfortunately.

Thanks for this Stevia. I had missed, completely your hidden PiPs. The red one looks wonderful indeed. I have the Hohner Trichord button accordion in the same red colour. As I get older and my body a little weaker, I now play mostly the same accordions (sampled by me - the same recorded accordeon sounds) on my Yamaha Tyros electronic keyboard so I still get a sense of the sounds without my arms hurting me :) However I still get a kick out of the unique live breathing sound under my chin! I play much Germanic type' Volks Musik' and Tango music as suits my German heritage.

Best Wishes and thanks. Herbert

Yes, Herbert, this is a good and interesting idea and alternative for you to play the accordion sounds on your electronic keyboard. What all not does possible! ;-)

All the best to you and many greetings sends Stevia

I see Horner makes accordions as well as harmonicas. If I knew that I forgot. Every time I see a accordion I think of folks having a grand time dancing the Polka. :) ( of course folks dance more than the polka with accordions) Nice series Jan. :)

Many thanks, Chris! Yes, I think, accordion music raises the mood right away and is great for musical entertainment on celebrations. The often cheerful music also goes very good at fast in the dance leg ... :) When my parents were still young and they celebrated with their friends and relatives at home, a lot of accordion was played and sung. They had a lot of fun doing it. I have never experienced so much joy of life in a cozy atmosphere at modern parties with music from the CD player. ;-)

Stevia club has replied to Erika+Manfred club
In dem Fall kannst du es spielen? Klasse! Hole es doch gelegentlich mal wieder hervor und mache Musik, vielleicht in gemütlicher Runde daheim. Das gibt eine wunderbare Stimmung! :)

Stevia club has replied to klaus 040 club
