Isn't it strange that Greenland is so icy and Iceland is much less so? They have been wrongly named in the past.
With the effects of global warming scenes like this will become rare. So a harsh but beautiful wilderness will start to disappear.

Yes , it is very strange Amelia. The names come from the Vikings, according to The National Geographic :
