Steam Elephant passing a very old looking fence!
A very old locomotive from around 1815.

Look carefully, and you will see it is a geared 0-6-0 locomotive, as opposed to the later direct drive and coupling rods.

Most replicas will work in steam, but they want to keep wear and tear to a minimum, so only occasionally, as you have noticed.
