Gorgeous bark! I'm not sure I've ever seen a plane tree. This looks like a pleasant place to sit in the shade.

They line the streets of London.
I couldn't sit here, Diane it was far too hot. (41c , I guess 104F). I only came this way because I was 15 minutes early for my class and I realised I didn't have an HFF shot that week. So I went looking for one and also it upped the steps on my pedometer (the word 'sad' doesn't even touch the sides here!).

Yes, the combination of looking for HFF shots and checking my pedometer, is an extremely anal state of affairs which I have to stop forthwith, Diane. With forth if necessary!
I hadn't caught the India / water situation. Will catch up on it.
