I think you caught the traffic just at the right time, Andy. I can't imagine a big city like Madrid being quiet for any length of time!

True, Jenny but I am lucky; I live on Calle Santa Engracia which is the quietest of all the main streets in the centre of Madrid. Most of it is one way and it leads in a direction it seems not many want to go! :o))
