These two straight lines leading to the vanishing point, do a good job to help orientate in that mass (or mess?) of archs and bows.

Not sure what you mean about progress of smartphone cams (which I am not disputing!).
I took this shot on my beloved Nokia N95, a great camera but rubbish phone.
When I discovered Pano in 2011, I also discovered the Picasa 3 editing tool shortly after and in experimenting I sometimes went over the top in my enthusiasm for my new toy! This is just such a photo. The original (now lost) was much more subdued but of good quality for a cameraphone of its day. I tried to tone down the saturation, colour and boost bsfore uploading here but eventually decided to leave it as I found it, mainly to make a change from my usual style(s).
I appreciate it wan't be to everyone's taste but I was on a desperate search for an HFF shot! (I don't see many fences here!)

Ha Ha! I bet this won a special competition! It is all part of a new park which folows Madrid's Manzanares river (stream would be more like it!).
Until the 2000s, a motorway followed it's course. That has been placed underground and the resultant space turned into a narrow and long riverside (streamside) park with a mix of greenery and modern architecture. Most people like this bridge.
