Unknown purpose. Presumed to be neolithic. Healing powers were attributed to it at least since the middle ages (babies would be passed through the hole).
Near Lanyon Farm, Madron parish, Cornwall.

Fascinating megalithic site! It would be interesting to check in which part(s) of the year, at sunrise, the shadow of one menhir would point straight to the other.
