Die Anfänge der Marienkirche in Neubrandenburg datieren aus dem Jahr 1270. Seit 2001 ist sie eine reine Konzertkirche mit hervorragender Akustik.

Wunderschön beleuchtet, diese herrliche Backsteinkirche, lieber Percy! Das filigrane Maßwerk hebt sich wirkungsvoll vom dunklen Abendhimmel ab. Ein wenig erinnert mich das Bauwerk an einen kostbaren Reliquienschrein.

Da hast Du ja wirklich einen schönen Vergleich gewählt, liebe Uli ! Die Kirche ist wirklich imposant, und es hat mich schon immer gereizt, sie einmal dermaßen beleuchtet zu fotografieren.

In diesem goldenen Licht wirkt die Kirche direkt wie ein Schmuckstück. Auch der kunstvolle Giebel mit seinen Türmchen ist sehr beeindruckend und prächtig gestaltet. Er erinnert mich etwas an eine große Kirchenorgel. ;-)
