Oh dear Diane....I hope your shoulder is better soon! Sounds very painful.
What a beautiful looking dog. When I used to take my dog to the vets it was difficult to get her through the door. Not even cats in their baskets interested her!!

That made me think, later, that he knows the place. On the other hand, I've never seen a dog excited to go into the vet clinic before! But, he's very young, so...

Very sorry to hear about your shoulder injury, Diane. A lovely looking dog, I'd think a Labrador, and going by his reaction he must have been at the vet's previously.

He was a handsome little fellow. A little nuts at first, then settled down in the car. Yes, a Lab. About his clinic reaction, I felt that way in retrospect, too.

Oh gosh poor you, but of course you could not leave him roaming, hope he finds his way back home & I hope you don't suffer too long Diane, take care x !!!

He did rather enjoy his adventure, I think. He was fairly well-behaved, except for barking at me twice. The nerve! I don't want a dog and my son's family has FOUR! My grandson's dog, Duck, is very old, a yellow Lab with heart trouble. I know he would fall in love this dog. Funny - I had just dropped him off at his driver training class, drove away a couple of miles and then found this dog! Good thing he wasn't with me.

One time, I found a horse on a road side and I took it by the flange. Fortunately for my shoulder this lost horse was quiet.
Massage with essential oil of wintergreen could be useful !

Ah, now a horse would have been a much bigger problem! I would probably have called the sheriff and they would take it to the animal control barn. What did you do with your horse?

I was with the horse on the side of the road, with many cars and trucks passing.
Fortunately, I had my phone in the pocket, and I called the police after 5 minuts of reflexion. They came after about fifteen minuts, I was happy to give them the flange . Twenty minuts of pure loneliness, despite the horse ( he was saddled, sweaty and must have lost his rider)

Oh, that is a more difficult experience than I had! Somewhere there was a rider with a broken arm, perhaps!
