Pleasing composition.
Is The CLUB the place to hang out in your neck of the woods, Diane?

It's just a gym, you know, wall-to-wall machines for burning off the fat. I have never gone to a gym and I'm not going to start now. Thank you, Andy!

Heavens forbid! Just stick to your half hour bullworker sessions, daily 5 mile jog, spinach and blueberry smoothie laced with all-bran routine ... and who needs a gym? (Maybe a toilet close at hand every hour or so but hey ... )

Such a basic, no frills building, but the name suggests that it is something special.

Lovely pic though Diane! The light is lovely and so is the background.

Only a gym for fitness maniacs. ;-)
thanks, Keith!

Well-balanced composition and a classic building. Makes me nostalgic for the primitive days of my childhood.

Hmm, you mean up in the Yukon? Outhouse? Annual moose shoot? Things like that?

Thank you, John!

Funny .. reminds me of sign I saw when we drove over to Winston-Salem, NC ...
It said 'SNOB' ..
Tis a consignment/thrift shop ..
But some reviews I've read say -- the name is appropriate re: customer service (or lack of) ..

Did you scatter, yet?
Mine are growing .. remember, they self-seed so you only have to pull up the ones you don't want or if they are in the yard, the mower whacks them off !
Pam J has small flowers on her False Sunflowers (sigh) - she has alien weather !

Diane Putnam club has replied to Peggy C club
I did, but have no idea whether they'll stick in the wind, or whether the garden-guys blew them away. I scattered two, plus some columbine I had, and put a shallow layer of gardening soil over them. They're far from germinating, it's been cool and it's always dry as a bone, here. I'm spritzing them. We'll see what happens. I'll save the hollyhock and false sunflower to sow in fall, as that is recommended for my zone. Our growing season is very short, so seeds are tricky without a greenhouse. We can actually have a frost in June!!! It's happened. ;-( Fingers crossed!
