Thank you, Cheryl! Vapor trails sometimes add interest, I think. This building is a plus-size lingerie store - hehe!

blue or green???
A difference between the names of the colors green and blue in different languages is sometimes not or only partially reproduced.

Blue color in the time ca 1500 the most expensive color in the world. It was not easy to make the color. When the Italians gave the color oltramarino in the 16th century, which meant, so much from overseas (from other ports = oltre marina).
Because lapis lazuli - forms the basis of color - Lapislazuli are from Chile, Sambia, not so much from Sibira and above all things from Afghanistan.

It is always a dilemma, Anna! Honestly, this is just called "aqua" here most of the time. I lean toward blue in this case. Blue oil paint - cobalt and ultramarine - is still the most expensive in the world. I have exactly one tube of cobalt oil from France. I think it cost about $30 when I bought it 10 years ago, and I am sure it needs a long soak to bring it back to a usable consistency!

Oh, of course! Not nearly as much as a "real city," because the gang situation is very rudimentary. Mostly teenaged wanna-bees, but the occasional Cali types pass through. For now.

That vast area of blue was a bit overwhelming. I am glad someone has decided to add some interest.

Haha - good point, Ron, but it's been painted over. Sorry!

Yes! Best thing to cut down on it is just plain old brick. Harder to make an impression. Thanks, Keith.

That would be great! I've never tackled a painting that big and wouldn't even know how to start. ;-o

... light industry in blue ...

... and after one more Panoramio shot (https://www.panoramio.com/photo/79942143), I'm done with the Pano connection today ...

I'm still gradually downloading some of mine from Pano, just because it's easier than trying to find them in my thousands of files. I am terrible with organizing them, so they're just by date. I still think it's outrageous that Google killed a massive archive of international placemarks and photos. I think they will eventually disappear from GE entirely - and maybe GE itself will disappear. Ah, well, by the end of this year I hope I'll be able to delete my G+/G Photos altogether. (Funny thing is, although I had Pano and G+ linked for photos, not all of them made the transition.)

Well, enough of that - thanks!
