No point in earning something wholesome I presume?

I could have said, here's money for organic apples, a soy burger, raw almonds and heritage carrots. They would nod and buy hamburgers & fries anyway! ;-b

Thanks, Andy.

They might do it! But, I think that's a long bike ride... The one in orange is my grandson and the other is his best friend. They keep visiting me and I keep giving them chores, so it's obviously fine with them. This is the first time I've given them money and they really earned it today. Then, they were off like rockets to Wendy's.

Wendy's!!!!!

There's a blast from the past!
I remember they came to the UK and the rest of Europe in the early 80s, were much better than the alternatives (the usual names) and then within 5 years they were gone again - a pity, as although I'm not a great aficionado of fast food outlets they seemed to be a cut above!.

They are a cut above. I will eat their food, whereas I can't stand the other ones. It sounds like they expanded too fast and got in over their heads. Interesting!

I expect so, Diane and it was a shame because by common consensus they were the best. it was astonishing that they got it so wrong. A distant memory now!

Funnily enough, my wife and I are looking through our window and trying to muster the enthusiasm to sweep up the huge amount of leaves in our garden..............unfortunately my grandchildren live too far away to help. Looks like I'll have to do it then..!!

I really like this little set of images Diane............you're making some great memories there!

Thanks, Keith! It's a hardship to have the grandkids so far away - aside from the leaves, they can't carry your heavy things or dig holes for planting! ; )

Haha - well, I'm the grandmother, so any time I can get them to do chores for me, I take advantage of it!
