You would need to be a risk taker to walk out on that jetty but it looks good surrounded by the greenery. Glad you had a good day. I often think I should do more B&W but I find it hard to forego colour. I love it so much.

Versuch‘s doch mal. Nicht immer passt‘s. Aber oft kriegen die Bilder mehr Stärke. Vielleicht, weil man ja aus dem normalen farbigen Sehen heraustreten muss und m Betrachten eine gewisse Distanz schafft. Schönen Sonntag, Chrissy !

SW ist immer einen Versuch wert, am besten mit Silver Efex Pro (Nik Filter) ! Wenn's mal regnet und du Zeit hast, einfach mit alten Fotos rumprobieren, du bekommst schnell ein Gefühl dafür, was sich eignet und was nicht.

Das ist eine super Idee! Das schreib ich auf die Liste (zu viele Projekte auf einmal kann ich nicht, aber ich freu mich drauf)

In this particular case, or in this particular photo, I think colors are "needed".

But, as simple thing as composing in portrait (vertical), could be a great place for black and white. But this is only my subjective opinion, of course ;-)

The point is that black and white may work best on somehow "dynamic" images, to bring more "drama".

However, the best way indeed is to try! =D

So, try, and try, and then try some more. And the same thing with me. I should try shooting/editing B&W more often!
