It's the exit of Eppstein castle, situated on a mountain ridge in the Taunus, surrounded by castle moats, fortifications and flank-towers. This beautiful ruin offers an amazing outlook over the town and nearby villages.

Danke Wilhelm. Ja, heute düfte es nicht mehr viele Leute geben, die so ein schweres Tor am Garten haben !! Jedenfalls, "Schnuteldeckel"... schöner kann man die Gesichtsmasken wirklich nicht beschreiben :-) Alles Gute dir auch und einen gemütlichen 4. Advent.

Danke Ulrich. Auf jeden Fall, denn z.B. nur zwischen Eppstein, Königsstein, Falkenstein und Kronberg gibt es schon interessante Burgen zu besichtigen. Einen geruhsamen 4. Advent.
