Just an old window

Just an old window
A bit of sunlight to light the inside of someones workroom. These are getting less familiar now as plastic window frames dominate. What this really is - well does it matter.....

I know I'm just romanticizing an old window amidst old brick and stone, but I nevertheless like to image that something magical is being concocted inside.

Thanks Sarah. In truth there has probably been a few concoctions done in here - of greenfly killer? Nice to imagine though. Glad you liked it.

I love those old windows! If you would lighten the inside we could even see what is going on there.
Herb Riddle club has replied to Eva Lewitus club
Thanks Eva. Seeing too much of the inside would probably take away some of the mysticism from this. It is enough, in my opinion to see the writing on the label and plant pot. In any event the window was much too dark and dirty to get much more of the inside. Thanks for enjoying it, even as it is my friend. ~ Herb

Hello Leopold. Yes these windows can tell many stories I bet. Times have changed a great deal in this fishing village since this was new.

Hi again Steve. This was next to the old harbour of Johnshaven and so could have been used for many different things. A treasure trove for sure. Glad you liked it. ~ Herb
