Hi Dave, yes sometimes a photo needs a little help. The days of 'pure' untouched photography are long since gone as even complete (no post-editing) novices are completely over-ruled by the technology within the camera's and devices. Cheers for the thoughts my friend, Herb

Thanks a lot Steve and yes, our vintage railways go that extra mile (Oooooh) to create a real feeling of nostalgia. The comp, like lots of competitions, seemed like a difficult subject but in the end most of us nowadays have a large stock of 'normal' pictures taken in life's adventures. In the meantime, some members here will actually go out and take photos just with the comp in mind (what!!). Always a pity to see such a small number of members taking part in our SPC though.

Hi Dave, it seemed to me too, a difficult subject and my first thoughts were to leave it alone but i found some and I did well, so just shows what can be done. Yes, I felt that this subject needed something else too and certainly the vintage rail station provided that.
