Bodmin Moor and The Cheesewring
Here on Bodmin Moor near the village of Minions are a trio of interesting sights: The Hurlers Stone Circle, the Phoenix Cornish Mines and these very interesting rocks. This set being called the Cheesewring made of granite.

Yep, Doug, twas a very interesting little area of rocks here. The moors extend here but not many formations like this. Glad you like my notes too. Herb

Thanks Daniela. These looked a little man made to me but my reading says not. Behind me here by about 1km are ancient stone rock circles that are man made.

Also many similarities with granite forms found on my walks in the mountains of Central Spain!
