The sea stacks of Gunver Head

The sea stacks of Gunver Head
After visiting Stepper Point near Padstow in Cornwall the cliff-top path passes by this impressive sea stack just before the village of Trevone.

Andy Rodker, Erhard Bernstein, , Doug Shepherd have particularly liked this photo

Excellent framing on this dramatic scene Herb, looks all the better for not being a bright sunny day.

Glad you like this framing Doug. Had to do some clambering to get to this exact spot and as my wife would say, not the safest in the world. Like you say, the cloud cover does give this more atmosphere. Cheers, Herb

Excellent shot! (Apologies for cut and paste but it's difficult to comment individually on 2 week's worth of missed photos!!)

Such honesty Andy. At least you have actually left a comment. I wish that the visitors that simply hit the fave star would leave comments too. That being said their stars are better than a total ignored posting. I must admit to be tempted to copy and paste comments too but its a thing I rarely do. My dad always used to say "you talk to much Herbert!" maybe it goes for my writing too!
Cheers, Herb
ps glad you liked both this and the last picture of mine here. :)

... looks to be a dangerous coast ... well sited shot, with evocative results ...

... seems to me, I have heard my wife say (more than once): "You'd better be careful going out there for a darned picture; and don't drop your camera either." Oh well; no harm, no foul !! ...
