Brodick towards Goatfell
A view from the promenade along the front of the capital of the' Isle of Arran', Brodick on the south west coast of Scotland towards its famous majestic mountain, Goatfell. Along the right of the scene in the distance can be seen Brodick Castle. Time for a sit down to enjoy a bit of relaxation.

I am interested that the castle is a long way from its eponymous town. I note many such oddities geographically speaking and always wonder at the history, family stories, political / religious backgrounds, etc behind such quirks. (All my life people have said to me that I should have been a geography teacher! I never knew whether to be flattered or not!).
