NGC1763 Small part of Large Magellanic cloud I have never shot before.

NGC1763 Small part of Large Magellanic cloud I have never shot before.
This may look like one shot but in fact is 4 shot panorama of the area. The main reason for the shot was to see the big star middle top and its difraction spikes from the new solid spider.

I had to retake flats as the first stack when I looked at the shot looked like Checkerboard. Flats are uses to remove lens faults and dust. if you look at the pip you can see just what I mean.

I am finally happy that I can use the Telescope with out not fully understanding it. I look forward to getting just images not trials...

I can finally feel comfortable with this telescope focus has remained at same point give or take a little which indicates it still in the same place nothing has moved. In part from the solid spider and getting the right info on how to set the mirrors up. Many thanks hope your week goes well.

In these days of ever more impressive images from the distant Web telescope, I must admit to yours looking almost as impressive. Your patience and hard work has certainly paid off and now maybe, you can stop your constant test and just enjoy the Universe. Its hard for me and probably many others to comment on the technical aspects and accuracy you demonstrate with an array of tools and lenses. We can only hear what you say and enjoy what we see. Very well done.

Here is one of my stars! ⭐

Cheers. Herb

Thank you Herb it is finally a relief that I can now do some image taking for real I am done with the trials. I am also on hand to help David correctly set up his 10" Newtonian. what I mean by that straight out of the box is not how the Telescope is set up 10 changes to standard off the shelf. We are going to do it from unboxing and do them all at once. then show him how to align the "eye's " correctly. He start first shot correctly and not have to teach himself how to do it bit by bit.

With the backward step away from HFF it means I can concentrate on what I wanted to do take astro. I am currently on the very last colour camera shot I will start the learning process with same camera but Mono and filters next week. Thanks for the star I know I will be finding a whole lot more as well.

Me parece un trabajo fabuloso con el que tienes que disfrutar muchísimo y bien puedes sentirte orgulloso del resultado. Yo no sería capaz de hacerlo pero si puedo admirar esto que tú haces. Mis felicitaciones.

It has been a pain but finally getting things right and the results speak for themselves. Something I started 4 years ago been a big learning curve. Space is just so different to what we normally see. many thanks glad you like the shot.
