Fremantle Whale Tunnel!?

Fremantle Whale Tunnel!?
This was the Tunnel dug under the Round house for whales, but if you read the link that just may be another old wives tale in the city.

The Run down Tunnel has been restrenghtened and closed in parts to hold back the crumbling soft lime stone.

the Pips show some of the views of the roundhouse and surrounds. the two in the middle look down the same street but from each end...

thank you Freo is quite a place and has the oldest part of the history this side of Australia. I kept thinking I had more shots which I did but they where all on Panoramio now long gone from google earth, HFF you enjoy your weekend and keep free of Omicron.

It was a very good look back into the early history why I thought it best to have the Link , Glad you like the PIP's show a bit of the area but shame most of the photos i had where on Panoramio and not on Ipernity so cant show more, HFF enjoy the coming weekend.

the camera is working well and makes for a lighter walk about if I dont want to carry a FF, I have always liked the entrance but has been a while since I have been here after living on the north side of town. great to see some of the old places we use to know. HFF all the best for your weekend.
