Gudrun i so much wanted the rock in the shot so i set out to get it glad it all worked out at the expense of the main core of the milky way hidden behind the tree. i truly enjoyed this night just took the time to get it all right the result shows it worth it. nothing you can not do either with the 14mm on the 6D but you will need a graduated head to get the spread right.
