La torre possiede un’insolita peculiarità: dall’esterno della cinta muraria ha tutte le caratteristiche di un’imponente struttura difensiva con una facciata massiccia e strette feritoie mentre dall’interno del paese, assume l’aspetto di un’abitazione alta quattro piani con finestre fiorite e decorazioni in legno. Oggi la torre ospita il museo storico di arte e tradizione popolare, dove è possibile ammirare armi e attrezzi risalenti al XV secolo.

At 25 metres high, the ancient tower dominates and protects the town: it once served as a lookout point for enemies and a strategic place for the defence of the village. The tower has an unusual peculiarity: from the outside of the walls it has all the characteristics of an imposing defensive structure with a massive façade and narrow slits, while from the inside of the town, it takes on the appearance of a four-storey high house with flowered windows and wooden decorations. Today the tower houses the Historical Museum of Folk Art and Tradition, where you can admire weapons and tools dating back to the 15th century.
