Portal der ehemaligen Diamantwerke Chemnitz - Das alte Diamantwerk wurde von 1895 – 1924 erbaut. Hier wurden die legendären Diamant-Räder produziert. Fahrräder werden auch heute noch unter diesem Namen (seit 1997) in Hartmannsdorf bei Chemnitz, produziert. Es ist die älteste Fahrradfabrik Deutschlands.

Schöne Erinnerung, Frank. Ich habe dieses Jahr in Chemnitz Diamant-Fahrräder im Fahrrad-Handel in der ehemaligen Markthalle gesehen. Dort steht eine ziemlich breite Produktpalette von Diamant.

Bekannt war die Marke schon, aber die Räder waren nicht so leicht zu bekommen, glaube ich.
