I spent a very chilly couple of hours on the first day of Advent, watching the sun slowly rise on the calm water of this fjord.

Very calm and peaceful. Definitely worth waiting in the cold to get this.
I love the colour gradations in the water: inky blue-black to salmon-pink.

Is the bright object in the sky (upper right) Venus or an aircraft? It reflects nicely in the water.

Looking closely at the bright spot in the sky, I suspect it's an aircraft either coming into land or taking off from the nearby airport of Sola,
