Schmapping along ;-)

Thanks, Sherry. Yes, Sara, like Sherry said: Schmapp issue a number of online city guides. Apparently, they ask people like you and me, who have images of any given place in a city online, whether they can use their material. There is no revenue involved, but it makes for some further exposure and well, just generally a feeling of some "extra appreciation", you know? Like with the National Geographic, when they asked me, whether they could use my pic of the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Later in the process, they wouldn't require it any longer, as researching the story they were on had taken too long and my image wasn't "all new" any more. But anyway - just being asked by such a prestigious source felt good ;-) And while Schmapp may not be NG yet, it is still nice.
Anyway, it's nothing of any major significance, just a nice "extra" :-)

Ich gratuliere Werner und allen anderen, deren Arbeit auf städtischen Websites gewürdigt wird.
Leider konnte ich mich selbst noch nicht mal für die Homepage der Gemeinde Icking qualifizieren, aber ich werde weiterhin mein Bestes tun.
