This lot has been laying around waiting to be sorted for years so today was the day.
There were papers and letters dating back 11 years,obviously the last time I had a sort out.
When I finished the pile was like this,the two red hard back folders are now empty and in the bookcase
I had emptied a pedal bin liner full of confetti produced by feeding papers through the shredder.5 tomes. It only took an hour or so and would have been quicker if not for the cats helping. All is now neatly stashed away within easy reach.
When you have an elderly relative like mine it is good to see them when possible and ring to check on them every day or so, Today my mother who is in her early nineties turned the tables and rang to see how I was doing and could she do anything to help,sweet eh?
You did a good job on the old pile of whatever.
The sorting looks good. I need to do the same badly in my office area. Truth is, like you, the job is a bit scary as its been a long time since I cleared it completely.
A good job there, and your blogs do sometimes put me to shame and encourage me to have a sort out. I'm tackling one room at a time and it is surprising how the 'stuff' piles up.
