Today my beloved Margaret would have been 69 something I find hard to imagine. It has been 13 years come Christmas since the cancer took her life and the days of feeling sad at her anniversary are long behind me now and my mind is filled with happy memories of the wonderful times we had. Happy Birthday funny face.

As I was going to bed last night I noticed how bright the moon was shining through the window so I took a couple of snaps. The clear cold night brought with it a heavy frost and it was still below zero at 10 am.bbbrrrr.I have had to refill the bird baths twice this morning the little fellas really love the water in this weather when the groundwater is frozen.

I waited until the streets were aired and set off to Mac's, I didn't go the direct route but instead walked along the prom awhile before turned up to come out the other side of the shop. This meant I had turned a little stroll of a few hundred yards into 1½ miles and got the old legs and lungs working. This brought the mileage for the month up to 24,not the one to two miles daily average I want for this time of year but considering the weather I am pleased enough.
Time for coffee and catch up methinks.
