Well with the washing blowing merrily on the lines, I took a walk around the driveway to see if there were any new flowers out there - of course there are...........
There are loads of blackberry flowers out - so soon there'll be loads of berries - well I hope to get to them before the birds do.............
Or little green insects - they seem to like them too..........
Next to the blackberry flowers were another kind of wild flower.........
I don't know what it is - but it's a flower so it can stay........ also there was this strange flower - well not exactly a flower - just this.............
Now this is either something after a flower's gone or this is it...........
My Leycesteria Formosa [otherwise known as a Himalayan Honeysuckle] has really come up trumps this year - the bush is lovely and big and there are loads of flowers on it...........
Aren't the flowers gorgeous? Such a complicated flower -
Our own British honeysuckle looks totally different............
The common mallow is prevalent in lots of places in the driveway - in fact it's all over the place.............
The loose strife is also popping up all over the place - I do love it, it's so tall and such a gorgeous blue............
Also I noticed that the mombretia is starting to form flowers - wow now I think of them as being autumnal flowers - it's only just started being summer..................
There are still lots of lovely flowers around - my gorgeous new red poppy looks absolutely gorgeous when the sun is shining on it........
There is also a large plant in the garden - it's got soft hairy leaves and I thought it was just that - a soft hairy leaved plant - but I noticed today there is a flower on its way up - so what it is - you'll have to wait like me.............
Well folks that's about it for today - I'm sorry to keep harping on about the flowers, but so many that I've not seen before are coming up. My daughter sighs very heavily when I mention flowers - and I've got to tell someone haven't I? LOL
We're due showers from Friday for a few days and I'll be glad of it, my garden is looking parched and I'm tired of watering it lol.
