Yeah - yeah I've just this minute finished quilting my neighbour's quilt for her daughter. I am so glad that she agreed with me to completely sew the whole quilt. It looks so much better.............

You see it just finishes it off properly. The sewing is all done by hand to join the backing, wadding and front together and it's taken me just over 3 months from start to finish.

I am so thrilled with this and I feel honoured to have been asked to sew this for her to give to her daughter as an heirloom. She wants to pay me for sewing it - but I don't want any payment, my pleasure is in seeing her smile when I show it to her.
