So I decided to make Yvonne's new grandchild with a mini "Arthur".
This is the basic shape done, the eyes sewn on and the ears and legs attached. Now for the fun part - dressing him.....
I don't do any knitting so wool wasn't available. I didn't want to put the "rasta" black wool like Mickeys, so I rummaged around my craft box/bag!!
I realised that I hadn't seen to this box since 1998!! I used to do cross-stitch with wool, and I found some remnants left over. I managed to find some various pale brown wool, but it kept splitting etc. Anyway eventually I managed to sew it on the pony's head. It's got a variety of colours - all I had left!!!
Then I had to choose the blanket for him. I found the remnants from Colin's curtains that I'd taken up a few months ago. So he's now got a nice warm blanket on his back.
It looks as if he's pleased with how he looks, judging by the smile on his face!!!!
LOL, your "reject" looks like it belongs on the Island of Misfit Toys! :D And yet, I think it's adorable! I do see the resemblance to Piglet but I'm sticking to my opinion...it's a cross between a bun and a sheepie! :D
Thanks for sharing your sewing adventure with us, you are so talented! :)
