If you remember, I had said that I was making a soft toy for the grandchild of Yvonne, my neighbour. Well it was going to be a rabbit, but Mandi said that it looked closer to Piglet from "Winnie the Pooh"!!!! So rather than send the young baby with a less than beautiful outcome, I decided to make little Teddie a miniature of the one I sent Mickey.

This is the rabbit, and can you see why I'm not too keen on it. All I had was the pattern, no instructions, so maybe that's why it's not turned out so well. Well Mandi wants it now, so I'll take it to her. She's right though - it does look a bit like Piglet from Winnie the Pooh!!!!!

So I decided to make Yvonne's new grandchild with a mini "Arthur".

This is the basic shape done, the eyes sewn on and the ears and legs attached. Now for the fun part - dressing him.....

I don't do any knitting so wool wasn't available. I didn't want to put the "rasta" black wool like Mickeys, so I rummaged around my craft box/bag!!

I realised that I hadn't seen to this box since 1998!! I used to do cross-stitch with wool, and I found some remnants left over. I managed to find some various pale brown wool, but it kept splitting etc. Anyway eventually I managed to sew it on the pony's head. It's got a variety of colours - all I had left!!!

Then I had to choose the blanket for him. I found the remnants from Colin's curtains that I'd taken up a few months ago. So he's now got a nice warm blanket on his back.

It looks as if he's pleased with how he looks, judging by the smile on his face!!!!
