I was sitting in my lounge, starting on sewing the footballer, Josh wants for Christmas. It's quite difficult because I haven't found a pattern I can use. So after rifling around in my pattern box, I found a pattern for a doll called Raggedy Ann - so I only wanted the basic pattern for the body - I'll just make some shorts and top for when I finish it. I must also find out his favourite footballer, and find out his number for the back of the shirt and whether he has dark hair, or any facial hair - see I don't do things by halves!!!!

Well back to the story I started with .......... there was I sitting down starting on the doll, when Pippin decided that my sewing table was just the thing he wanted to sleep on!!!! It's weird that roughly every fortnight or so, he has a favourite place to sleep, and then as quickly as he decides on it, he moves to another place. I really enjoy it when he sleeps near me, then we can have snuggle fests!!!!

I love this look - so gorgeous. How can some people not like black cats?

Then when he feels that I've had more than my fair share of his time, he rolls over, stretches and then snuggles down into a circle...

This was a great opportunity for me to take some close up of his paws and face - he's so fantastic to me...

So at last I had a good chance of looking at him properly. Those talons are amazing as are his little pads (I call them his baked beans!) - they're not smooth as they used to be - all hardened and bitty but that's because he's out and about a lot.

Okay - I hope you all had a good weekend, as did I.
