It appears that a good chunk of people have chipped in to help keep Ipernity afloat into the future, with over $13,000 raised in four days.
With that in mind, I have decided to resume posting pictures on Ipernity, but in a slightly different way than I did originally.
I will continue to use Flickr for all my new uploads, as it still remains the optimal choice for long-term cloud storage.
However, I will post duplicates of each of those photos here onto Ipernity using the Flickr Import tool. That tool allows me to copy pictures, tags, and descriptions over from Flickr onto Ipernity in batches of 90 pictures with minimal effort.
Funtionally, my two photostreams on Flickr and Ipernity will appear to be 'synced' with latest photos.
So now, hopefully we can continue our Ipernity activity while maintaining a long-term storage solution just in case the worst happens.
Any thoughts?

I'll maintain some level of activity here, but having had two of my pics on Flickr hit Explore since resuming activity there, that will be the main focus for a while.
